- What’s in it for my business?
- Cloops is simply the best way to market your local business. People spend over 80% of their disposable income within a few miles from where they live. Thousands of people who live in your neighborhood will see your deals and we'll send you eager new customers who are ready to buy. Lots of them will bring friends!
- How much does it cost?
- You pay nothing unless we sell your deals. There is NO RISK and NO OUT-OF-POCKET cost to you. We earn a commission only when we sell your deals. There are no hidden costs or charges.
- How do people find out about Cloops?
- Cloops is growing quickly. We have thousands of people looking at deals in your neighborhood every single day. Lots of people share these deals with their friends on Facebook and Twitter. Businesses on Cloops can enjoy lots of free exposure to local customers.
- How does it work?
- We know how challenging and time-consuming running a business can be, so we made Cloops really easy. We'll sell your deals, notify you by email and send you a check every two weeks. That's it!
- How do customers find out about Cloops?
- When you partner with Cloops, your business will benefit form some powerful marketing. We send a daily email to thousands of people in your area every day. We also use direct mail, local newspapers ad, online ads and social media (Facebook and Twitter). We sponsor many local events and we have a unique community outreach program for schools that reaches thousands of people in your community on an ongoing basis.
- What happens when you sell a deal for my business?
- When customers bring a Cloops Voucher to your business to redeem, just call our redemption hotline or visit Cloops.com to enter the redemption code and it can't be used again.
- When will I be paid for Cloops I've sold?
- We'll send you a check every two weeks for your redemptions from the previous two weeks.
- Which types of deals work best?
- Deals on Cloops must be genuine 50% off deals or more.
- 50% off? I can't afford that!
- We’ll work with you to create a great deal. Businesses that offer great deals drive more customers. Customers rarely shop or dine alone. If they like your product or service, they'll come back for more. In the end, your discount will likely be way less than 50%. If your competitor is on Cloops offering a better deal than you, you will likely lose customers to the competition.
- How is Cloops different from daily deal sites?
- Cloops is not a daily deal site. We partner with our merchants to promote them on an ongoing basis, not just for one day. It's simply the best pay-for-performance marketing available to local businesses. We provide customers with a browsable, searchable index of great local deals and intelligent, predictive browsing and search results, helping them find deals they want and suggesting deals they may like. This means more customers for you, many of whom may never have heard of your business or would otherwise go elsewhere!
- Can I set the price for my deals?
- Yes. Deals must cost at least $5 and no more than $999.
- How many deals can I create?
- We only run one deal at a time per business. This creates more value for the customer and makes it an easier purchase decision for them.
- How much commission does Cloops keep?
- 30%. We’re worth every penny. :-)
- Can I make changes after I create my deals?
- Yes. You can notify us at any time if you’d like to make changes to your deal and we'll take care of it for you.
- Can I see my sales history?
- Unlike many other forms of advertising, businesses easily can track their sales, redemptions and refunds on Cloops. You can see a detailed sales history by clicking on the "My Sales" link from the top of the page. This will appear automatically after you’ve sold your first deal.
- Can I sell my deals on Cloops if my business is outside the US?
- Sorry, at this point, creating a business account on Cloops requires a U.S. address.
- How can I share my deals?
- You can share them by email, on Twitter and Facebook by clicking the link under the photo on your deal.
